Hi,
hardware vendors told us that OpenHPI sends IPMI:SetEventReceiver request
when it performs "discovery" for a resource i.e. when it tries to retrieve
the current state of the resource facilities, including sensors. The HW
then re-arms the events (as per specification) which are reported by
OpenHPI with severity INFORMATIONAL according to hpiel's output.
We would like to know:
1) Is there any way we can differentiate the events raised by
SetEventReceiver from regular events?
2) Is there any way we can stop openhpid sending SetEventReceiver command?
What are the impacts if it is stopped?
